30 March 2008
Well, I hope this message
finds everyone well. I am getting ready to depart here to Bagram and then a few days later onward back to Fort Bragg.
I expct to be back around the 10th or so. As of right now, I am tracking approx. the 21st being their departure date from
Manas, Uzbekistan, so about the 22nd. I hear rumors of them not getting back until around the 25th - 28th. This may
be a possibility as I hear there are only certain days when the planes are flying out of Manas. I will look into it
and have an answer for everyone as soon as possible. I know many of you already had tickets around a certain date and
I apologize. All the guys should have known beter than to give out dates because unfortunately things change 20 times before they
come to fruitation in the Army. Things are pretty quiet here where I am at. There have been some small little skermishes
and incidents in the area the guys are in, but nothing involving them luckily. Please be flexible with their arrival,
unfortunately nothing is ever set in stone in the Army, dates change quite often and there is nthing that can be done
about that. I will keep everyone informed on their status as I get information and will pass that on. I will also be
passing along a number to call that will give updated lfight information after they have flown from Manas.
If anyone
has any questions, please feel free to email me and I will answer them immediately. Hang in there, only a few more weeks
to go before oyur loved ones are back home.
